What can you donate to Film Biz Recycling?

  • 🍳 Appliances: New and vintage kitchen items, clean vintage appliances, cameras, projectors, and period electronics. (Send e-waste, it’s okay!).

    🎨 Art supplies: Easels, used paintbrushes, new or full gallons of paint, plexiglass (4x4 or larger), glass, and mirrors.

    🍸 Bar and Cafe: Barware, bottles, bar taps, beer, ashtrays, fake cigarettes, menus, signage.

    📚 Books & Media: All books, musical instruments, records, CDs, and tapes.

    🔨 Custom Props and Fabrication: From faux to flats.

    🖼️ Frames & Art: We remove and destroy celebrity photos.

    🌿 Foliage & Live Plants: Silk flowers, potted plants, vases, sod, dirt, and sand (small quantities).

    🛋️ Furniture
    Sofas, side tables, cool chairs, coffee tables, plant stands, stools (Needs reupholstery? Okay!)

    🖐🏼 Hand Props:
    Character bags, luggage, purses, watches, mobile phones, and the like.

    💡 Lighting: Interior lamps, sconces, industrial, and outdoor lighting (Needs rewiring? Okay!)

    🍽️ Restaurant & Diner Dressing: From sugar bowls to banquettes.

    🏠 Rugs & Flooring: Any size of new carpeting, linoleum, tile, or raw materials.

    📦 Smalls: From a rusty garage to a palace.

    🧶 Soft Goods and Textiles: Throw pillows, curtains, blankets, and new sheets, etc.

    👗 Wardrobe and Textiles: Anything vintage wardrobe in boxes, bolts of



  • IKEA particle board furniture


    Anything beyond repair


    Broken, chipped smalls


    Old or stained carpeting, linoleum, tile, and building supplies


    Used mattresses (not in plastic—it’s the law!)


    Medical waste or hazardous materials. (pressurized tanks, expired medicine, etc.)

    Very large amounts of any one thing (unless it’s cash—call first!)

    Garbage (non-recyclable or non-reusable materials)
