Film Biz Recycling 2009 End-of-year report Highlights

Received donations from 90 productions, including 33 commercials, 26 films, 12 TV shows, and 2 theatrical productions – 75 tons in 2009 alone!

Donated goods to 33 charities in all five boroughs of New York, and Connecticut.

Opened NYC’s only not-for-profit prop house in April 2009.

Launched Green Storage Cleanouts servicing 6 features, 2 Broadway shows and 2 retail chains.

Wrote and distributed 500 copies of The Practical Guide to a Greener Production.

In 2009, FBR pumped nearly $66,000 dollars into the local economy – including creating 20 freelance green jobs.
