FBR Presents! is the flip side to the daytime Film Biz Prop Shop.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights our warehouse space is transformed into a creative community enrichment resource for performances, rehearsals, open mics, play readings, poetry readings, DIY workshops, stand up comedy, film screenings, discussions, etc. free of charge to event organizers.

Recent partnerships and bookings include:

• Super Fun Superfund Variety Show -  An eclectic mix of circus acts, stand-up comedy, magic, puppetry, experimental music, contortionists, street marching bands and utterly unique performances tough to find anywhere else in NYC.
• Dale Radio -  The Gowanus Canal’s premier arts & culture podcast featuring interviews with some of the most interesting emerging cultural voices from Brooklyn and beyond.
• BBQ Films - A cinema social club that hosts a curated menu of mainstream & indie films, popup style around the city, complete with matched meals & beverages.

The mission of Film Biz Recycling is to create opportunities from entertainment industry waste.  Given that space is a premium in the city, it is only fitting that the space we use to divert waste can also be used to further the creative culture of Gowanus, Brooklyn by providing access to valuable materials and much-needed space.  If you are interested in hosting an event with FBR Presents!, please contact info@filmbizrecycling.org for more details.
