This internship is designed to give students practical, hands-on experience with non-profit outreach focusing on operation expansion and continued growth.
Efforts include:
• Outreach to local elected officials
• Outreach to production companies
• Identifying local charities for partnership opportunities
• Identifying sustainable local businesses
This position is for someone with a passion for new media trends and emerging communication platforms. Intern will gain experience in social media platforms and online advocacy effective for non-profits.
Efforts include:
• Writing strategic FBR blog posts
• Strategic use of Twitter
• Strategic use of Facebook
• Tracking and reporting on key metrics
FBR is growing and in seeking a motivated individual to meet increasing website needs. This internship provides opportunity to be involved in all web-related efforts; concept, design, and implementation, while maintaining FBR brand standards and guidelines.
Efforts include:
• website updates
• web design
• design misc. print collateral
This position is for someone with an interest in learning the inner workings of redistribution – from intake to final destination. This individual will learn optimum sustainability practices and how they are implemented throughout FBR’s Creative Resuse Center.
Efforts include:
• Evaluating donated materials and recipients based on social need and environmental impact
• Developing redistribution networks
• Coordinating local charity donation
This unique internship offers the opportunity further an objects need/value with the use and manipulation of FBR’s in house material stock. This position is suited for someone who is conceptually creative and capable of creating finished pieces. This internship calls for someone loves to their hands dirty.

• Upcycling!
• Taking “Before & After” photos of upcycled creations
• Curating GALLA-RE (the FBR Upcycled Art Gallery)
• Development of upcycling RE-WORKSHOP series
