STAFF

Eva Radke

Founder/President

In May of 2008, Eva founded Film Biz Recycling.  Since then, the organization has worked with over 600 productions to divert over 200 tons of unwanted materials away from New York City landfills, and into the hands of local charities and arts organizations.

In addition to being the founder, Eva serves as FBR’s president. On any given day, or hour,  she can be found unloading a truck of donations, fundraising, spearheading community initiatives, paving the way for entertainment industry partnerships, working with FBR’s board of directors and generally spreading the gospel of FBR.

Radke received a BFA with a concentration in film theory from the University of Texas in 1993 and has lived in New York City ever since. For 15 years she excelled in the film and commercial production industry, mainly as art department coordinator extraordinaire.

Eva is a member of The Reuse Alliance and The NYC Materials Exchange Development Program. She is a staunch proponent of sharing her accumulated knowledge and experiences on diverse environmental platforms. She has participated on panel discussions for a broad cross section of production alliances and film festivals, including PGA Green, The Asian American International Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival and South by Southwest.

She was a stand-up comic in high school, loves roller coasters and her favorite movie is The Jerk. She is the mother of one and lives with her family in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Read her blog The Accidental Revolutionary.

Kelley Lutter

FBR Reuse Team

Kelley is the newest member of the FBR Re-Use Team. With her in-depth understanding of the film industry’s needs and desire to implement more sustainable practices on set, Kelley is a welcome and excellent addition to FBR’s growing team.

Originally from Los Angeles, Kelley went north to study Film and Digital Media in a hippie beach town in California, and has freelanced in many film Art Departments on both coasts.  Kelley is left-handed and likes funny, kitchy 70’s stuff.  She loves to discover new places, meet new puppies and lives in Brooklyn.

Margaret Gillespie

Margaret enjoys implementing change and for this reason is a power member of the FBR Reuse team. Dedicated to finding all materials their next best home, Margaret spends quality time with each customer, donor and recipient in order to embrace each unique set of needs. Her effervescent smile, outgoing personality and winning sense of humor make her a staff and supporter favorite.

In three words, Chris: Is A Man – in fact, he is the only man on payroll at FBR.  Outside of work, Chris spends his time getting involved in theatrical design and enjoys working with wood, honing his talent as a carpenter at Gowanus Furniture.  He is also addicted to gummy bears.
