Eva Radke
Founder/President

In May of 2008, Eva founded Film Biz Recycling. Since then, the organization has worked with over 600 productions to divert over 200 tons of unwanted materials away from New York City landfills, and into the hands of local charities and arts organizations.

In addition to being the founder, Eva serves as FBR’s president. On any given day, or hour, she can be found unloading a truck of donations, fundraising, spearheading community initiatives, paving the way for entertainment industry partnerships, working with FBR’s board of directors and generally spreading the gospel of FBR.

Radke received a BFA with a concentration in film theory from the University of Texas in 1993 and has lived in New York City ever since. For 15 years she excelled in the film and commercial production industry, mainly as art department coordinator extraordinaire.

Eva is a member of The Reuse Alliance and The NYC Materials Exchange Development Program. She is a staunch proponent of sharing her accumulated knowledge and experiences on diverse environmental platforms. She has participated on panel discussions for a broad cross section of production alliances and film festivals, including PGA Green, The Asian American International Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival and South by Southwest.

She was a stand-up comic in high school, loves roller coasters and her favorite movie is The Jerk. She is the mother of one and lives with her family in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Read her blog The Accidental Revolutionary.


Liz Minot
Director of Operations/Chief Financial Officer

Liz creates and implements FBR’s operation procedures, from donation to redistribution. In addition to these responsibilities, Liz also serves as FBR’s interim CFO. This dual position is an organic evolution of her in-depth knowledge of both the film and re-use industries’ budgetary consciousness.

Liz Minot grew up in New Mexico, California and Massachusetts before settling in NYC where she worked on film, TV, and commercial sets as a prop master and decorator. Her love of the film industry coupled with her passion for the the environment makes Liz a perfect fit for FBR’s unique mission.

She received her BFA at Hampshire College. She loves hats, the Red Sox and dining out and can usually be found combining all three in her Brooklyn neighborhood.


Jane Borock
Director of Communications / Program Development

As Director of Communications, Jane is tasked with devising the communication strategy for FBR’s myriad of programs and efforts. Jane’s broad range of interests grant her a unique voice which is comprehensive to the entertainment industry, partnered charities and the general public alike. She spent over a decade as a creative force within major Madison Avenue agencies. Jane is perfectly suited to channel FBR’s mission via web initiatives, social media platforms, creative advertising, and press relations. Dedicated to creating sustainable solutions, she is excited to develop programming such as the Re-Workshop and Galle-Re which bridges active community involvement and FBR’s mission.

Jane can be spotted fishing from Brooklyn piers alongside her 1961 vintage motorbike named Red Snapper.


Aimee Cedro
Operations Coordinator

Aimee is FBR’s first line of communication with donors and volunteers. Her extensive experience in the non-profit re-use sector makes her the perfect liason for FBR’s Creative Re-Use Center; from back end operations to providing support and training for the Re-Use team. As Operations Coordinator, her dedication to detail facilitates the donation process and maximizes redistribution efficiency.

From supporter, to volunteer, to integral staff member, Aimee’s involvement with FBR is as extensive as its mission. Aimee was a early joiner in the the non-profit re-use sector having begun her career at Housing Works.

On the side she is an irrepressible performance artist who has a crazy love of sequins and lives in New Jersey.


Marea Judilla
Visual Director

As Visual Director, Marea is responsible for transforming boxes of what-was-almost-trash into the eye-catching decor-and-design elements that brim the FBR Warehouse. Fully committed to all aspects of sustainability and re-use, Marea oversees the evaluation of donated materials and recipients in addition to being the Re-Use teams’ boots-on-the-ground figurehead. Marea continually marvels about the transformative power of FBR’s mission; just ask her.

In addition to her expansive role at FBR, Marea is a visual artist, costume designer and co-founder of DesignSpaceConcept, a design team specializing in upcycled spatial and product design. Before joining FBR, Marea served as Visual Director at Housing Works.


Edith Raw
FBR Re-Use Team

Edith is a founding member of the FBR Warehouse Re-Use Team. From customer, to donor, to charity, the team’s dedicated work is in constant flux. In addition to her contributions as a visual artist, Edith is committed and involved with each project and program’s unique social need and environmental impact.

Brains, beauty and a brute in a skirt. Edith ‘Raw’ Corra is a poet, performance and visual artist. Originally from Chicago and Edith now lives in Brooklyn.


Nadia Alireza
FBR Re-Use Team

Like all future movers and shakers in the re-use sector, Nadia began her career as an intern at Film Biz Recycling. During the course of her internship Nadia displayed an uncommon visual design aptitude and healthy obsession with re-use. Consequently, FBR could not bear to lose her and invited her to join the Re-Use team as an employee.

Nadia grew up in Bahrain, a tiny island off of Saudi Arabia. She is a senior at NYU studying Studio Art and beer.


Kelley Lutter
FBR Re-Use Team

Kelley is the newest member of the FBR Re-Use Team. With her in-depth understanding of the film industry’s needs and desire to implement more sustainable practices on set, Kelley is a welcome and excellent addition to FBR’s growing team.

Originally from Los Angeles, Kelley went north to study Film and Digital Media in a hippie beach town in California, and has freelanced in many Film Art Departments on both coasts. She loves to discover new places, meet new puppies and lives in Brooklyn.


Margaret Gillespie
FBR Re-Use Team

Margaret enjoys implementing change and thus a power member of the FBR Re-Use team. Dedicated to finding all materials their next best home, Margaret spends quality time with each customer, donor and recipient in order to embrace each unique set of needs. Her effervescent smile and outgoing personality make her a staff and supporter favorite.

Margaret loves to wear a tool belt and lives in Brooklyn.


Tyagi Schwartz
Shop Steward and Resident Upcycler

Tyagi comes to FBR with an an extensive background in set design and construction and an unique vision of the many ways to further materials potential use. Most often he can be found in FBR’s on-site studio fixing up the “more-than-gently-loved” donation items and creating new designs and functional art by upcycling rescued materials.

Tyagi’s designs are visual proof that all materials have intrinsic value that can be amplified with creativity. His work was the founding inspiration for FBR’s Galla-Re; a space dedicated to showcasing the works of local upcyclers.

Tyagi is the founder of DOG TAG DESIGNS. His inspiring work can be found in FBR Galle-Re, at the Brooklyn Flea and Hester Street Fair.
